hello!
I’m Cahro! I am a Japanese-Brazillian illustrator, comic artist, designer and a small business owner based in São Paulo.
In my artwork, I usually portrait comfort and coziness. Still, I also like to experiment with different themes and media, so I'm very open to different projects that challenge me. I enjoy both traditional and digital art, but I feel that watercolor is where I can most freely express myself.
I was born in Argentina and raised in a strong japanese community in Brazil. In addition, I have had the oppotunity to immerse myself in the japanese culture, that strongly inspires my creativity today, through three scholarship exchange programs in Japan. This mix of cultures and how each of them influences me and my art is why I believe we are all unique and have our own stories to tell.
Right after graduating in Design from University of São Paulo (USP), I started my professional career and so far I have collaborated with clients like Honda, The Symphonic Orchestra of São Paulo and Harper Collins.
I'm looking forward to creating together!
